EOW nabs retired govt official for cheating private firm of ₹30 crore
A former executive director with a public sector undertaking, who had been working for a private limited company, has been arrested by the economic offences wing (EOW) for allegedly duping his employer. The accused allegedly caused a loss of around Rs 30 crore to the company, cops said.

NDMC to hike penalty for mosquito breeding
New Delhi: New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has decided to increase the penalty amount from Rs 500 to Rs 5,000 for mosquito breeding to ensure that people adhere to the norms to avoid conducive conditions in their neighbourhood. For a similar consecutive offence, the penalty will increase from Rs 20 to maximum Rs 200 per visit.
