Klopp Happy To Cash In On Misfit Marko

Liverpool has agreed to sell Marko Grujic to Porto in a deal that could eventually be worth around £10m.

The Portuguese outfit insists it is a loan deal for the Serbia international, 25 (left) with an option to make it permanent.

But Liverpool issued a statement saying the midfielder – who was Jurgen Klopp’s first Anfield signing in 2016 – has “sealed a permanent move to FC Porto”.

It is understood Grujic, who cost around £5m but only made 16 appearances, has agreed on a five-year contract. Liverpool have raised further funds by agreeing on a deal to sell striker Taiwo Awoniyi, 23, to Union Berlin for £6.5m.
