How you frame a photograph can have a dramatic impact on the viewer’s perception of the scene you’ve captured. This is true of a physical frame you’d hang above the mantelpiece, but it’s also true of any creative treatment you add to the edges of the photo itself.
Amongst this issue’s project files you’ll find a set of 26 organic borders – textured, fine-art edge effects that have been handcrafted with real brushes and acrylic paint. Adding one of these to your landscape shot will immediately inject an extra dose of artistry to your work.
Applying them in Photoshop CC is really simple. Here we’ve outlined four ways you can use these organic borders to enhance your scenic shots and add that little extra to your images.
Quick Tip
The 26 borders have been optimized to make their use as flexible and as easy as possible. They are all sized to A4 for convenience but can be resized. Download the files and then copy them to somewhere that’s easy to find on your computer.
The Mission – Frame your images with our 26 free borders to make them fit to hang on your wall at home
