Racing Up The Corporate Ladder
RUN Singapore
|June/July 2018
If you are passionate about something, you'll find a way to get it done. Jenny Lem and U-Wei Khew aim to inspire their colleagues to lead an active lifestyle by example.
-
Both are busy executives forging their careers in the hustle of the Central Business District. Before and after the working day however, they are both fitness buffs that are leading their respective corporate running teams in the annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge.
A finisher of multiple marathons and a couple of ultras along the way, Jenny says that her favoured routine consists of running home to and from work. “I’ve been highly passionate about fitness for many years, but I really only started running seriously in 2007. These days, with an increasing workload, I find that it’s also important to prioritise what I love doing. I’ve learned that it’s important to adapt, and find time to train whenever I can. I tend to run home more than run to work these days too, because of time and logistics,” she tells us.
