BEAUTY REPORTER

Dr. Irena Eris, a pharmacist and founder of her namesake Poland-based beauty brand, doesn't take the easy route. With innovation and advanced science at the core of her brand, they formulate products from scratch at their research centre, something that can't be said for most beauty brands in the market today. Along with efficacy, they provide a holistic luxurious experience to consumers with their three five-star spa hotels.

As this leading brand now forays into India, Dr. Eris tells us about her journey into the beauty industry, their cutting-edge ingredients, and more.

GRAZIA: How did your journey into the beauty industry start? What led to the launch of Dr. Irena Eris?

IRENA ERIS: As a young girl, I had trouble with my skin, so I used to visit dermatologists a lot to help me find solutions to them. When I started studying pharmacy, I was looking for remedies against these concerns, which is why skincare was so close to me from a young age. Also, pharmacy gives you in-depth knowledge about the anatomy of your skin, and I wanted to explore this further. I was looking to work at a place which would allow me to satisfy my passion, but I didn't have it. With this brand, I can make my own decisions, and I can say I am responsible for these creations, which is also why the brand's name is my name.

G: With scientific advancements at the forefront, tell us about your innovative technologies and formulas.
