HOT ON THE HEELS of his successful debut as Louis Vuitton’s men’s creative director, Pharrell Williams has further fused music and fashion with the release of the Spring 2024 Men’s Capsule. Designed in collaboration with his long-time friend and a fellow of pop culture’s leading force Tyler, The Creator, the standalone capsule collection exercises the savoir-faire of Louis Vuitton through the artist’s inimitable creative lens and serves as a demonstration of the LVERS community: a global artistic network connected by an appreciation for the discernment and craftsmanship core to Louis Vuitton.
“Tyler has been my close friend and collaborator for years and we’ve always connected on music and design. This collaboration is unique to Louis Vuitton because it’s a natural extension of our LVERS philosophy, building on our network of incredible artists and creatives. There are so many elements specific to Tyler built into these pieces and it’s been inspiring to see him hone in on his craft and collaborate with him,” said Pharrell.
Building on the ongoing relationship between Louis Vuitton and the artist, who composed the soundtrack for the maison’s 2022 men’s show, the collection boasts a fusion of the signature preppy sophistication popularised by Tyler, The Creator and the elegant dandy dressing established by Pharrell Williams, expressed in trans-seasonal silhouettes founded in the colours and functions of spring.
