An assistant sub-inspector of special armed force (SAF) was allegedly killed and 10 other personnel sustained injuries on Saturday, when a police team tried to rescue a man abducted by the villagers over his involvement in an accident, in Mauganj district of Madhya Pradesh, police said, adding the abducted man, too, was also found dead later.
