A GRAN has launched a legal action against the monster who battered her tiny granddaughter, leaving the baby with a fractured skull.
Sick Mark Tannahill, 38, was convicted of assaulting the child following the death of her mum from ovarian cancer just eight weeks after giving birth.
He is due to be sentenced at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this week.
