Sandwich spread is certainly not one of them.
But, there is also a part of me that finds it very difficult to ignore an opportunity to try something that is wild, wacky and unusual. Case in point: croissant butter.
From local bakery gods Pollen, the butter spread has become a bonafide viral hit - often selling out instore within 24 hours. Arriving on online delivery platform DELLI this week, the item has also gone down a storm and sold out again in less than a day with people getting it delivered to their homes across the country.
But, as we all know, viral success does not always equate to greatness. So, I ordered a pot of the stuff to try it out for myself and to see if it’s really worth your hard-earned £10.
