Luckily, research out of Taiwan reveals that just gargling with plain tap water three times daily helps flush out these troublemakers, reducing your risk of any illness (even COVID-19) by 36%. Want to power up your protection? Add sea salt to your swish. British scientists say the mineral-rich salt strengthens tissue lining the mouth so viruses can’t invade. To do: Mix 1 Tbs. of sea salt with 1⁄ 2 cup of water; refrigerate between uses.
