Fans were stunned last December when pictures emerged of supermodel Kate Moss - who is said to be worth £55 million - shopping in Aldi. But all wasn't what it seemed, as it wasn't actually the famous Kate browsing the bargain aisles after all. Enter Fake Moss!
Doppelganger Denise Ohnona hit headlines last year when she duped the nation into thinking they'd spotted the star in unlikely locations. Since then the 43-yearold mum, who is seven years younger than Kate, has become a star in her own right - and now boasts 78,000 Instagram followers.
Recently, she even modelled at Paris Fashion Week, taking to the runway for the Marine Serre Womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-25 show, and has also appeared on This Morning. Here, Denise reveals how she fooled the world.
A mum-of-two from Lancashire, Denise didn't set out for the spotlight. 'I'm quite a shy person,' she admits. 'When I first started to get papped, I got very shy and felt like a fraud. But as time went on I started to enjoy it and now find it very flattering - who wouldn't want to get mistaken for Kate Moss? She's one of the most incredibly iconic women ever.'
