Six years after splitting from her husband of 20 years, Jamie Redknapp, it seems Louise has finally moved on. The star, 48, made a public appearance with her new man, Drew Michael, who at 39 is nine years her junior, as they attended pal Jimmy Carr’s 51st birthday together in London’s Soho. And it looks as though things could be serious. One onlooker said, ‘Louise’s smile when she and Drew connect with each other says it all in terms of this being a relationship rather than a “plus one” date.’ And Louise was quick to confirm that Drew was a new fixture in her life, saying, ‘It’s so difficult with your personal life... it’s all good.’ Admitting there was nothing left to say as ‘everything about it has already been written’.
While their first public appearance as a couple was very much a showbiz gig, Drew is not part of Louise’s celebrity world – which is perhaps a refreshing change.
Drew is said to be a former military officer, now the chief executive officer at Overwatch Group, also known as Overwatch Aerospace Ltd, supplying war equipment to the Royal Marines and the British Army.
