LET’S face it, many bosses are lazy, arrogant, two-faced lumps of offal interested only in their own advancement. But let’s move that possibility to the bottom of the list for now. After all, if that’s the kind of person your boss is, the best solution is to find another job. And we all know how easy that is in SA right now! So it really is worth it to find ways of getting along with a boss who rubs you the wrong way.
Be Tactful
YOU’RE in a delicate situation. They’re the boss; you’re the bossed. You have to follow their rules, no matter how silly. That way you can avoid a whole lot of additional stress! And always think things through carefully before you speak – or fire off that e-mail! Saying the wrong thing at the wrong time will only make your predicament worse.
