Chaat catches up with Great British Bake Off 2015 Winner, Nadiya Hussain, about her new book.
It was one of the most moving finales on British TV (and even made Mary Berry cry) when mother of 3, Nadiya Hussain, won the Bake Off last year, but the rising star has spent the past year doing some very inspiring things. Along with writing her first cookbook, Nadiya’s Kitchen, Nadiya has also written a children’s cook/story book called Bake Me a Story, baked a birthday cake for the Queen’s 90th, become a magazine columnist for The Times magazine and even landed her own TV show: The Chronicles of Nadiya, which aired on the BBC in August 2016.
In our last issue, we congratulated Nadiya on winning The Great British Bake Off and she told us that it was an unbelievable experience to bake the Queen’s birthday cake. This issue we managed to have a more in depth conversation about Christmas, cooking and cookbooks.
Chaat: Tell us a little bit about Nadiya’s Kitchen, (which would make a fabulous Christmas gift by the way!)?
