A brother and sister battle for survival after a virus wipes out most of Denmark
TV&Satellite Week is a few miles away from Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, but our surroundings couldn’t be more different. We’re here to meet the cast of Netflix’s dark new thriller The Rain, which is being filmed at a suitably grey and sinister underground bunker.
It is Netflix’s first original Danish drama. Set six years in the future, it is the story of siblings Simone and Rasmus who are among the survivors of a virus, carried by the rain, that has wiped out most of Scandinavia.
