Toyah has managed to keep up her baby lie for quite some time, thanks to a bit of quick thinking on her part and a lot of naivety and ignorance on Peter’s.

If he’d bothered to check in just once on their surrogate, Jacqui, he’d have known months ago that there was no baby. And has it never crossed his mind that it’s strange that little Susie hasn’t had a single visit from a health visitor?

This week, though, it’s game over, and not because Peter finally uses his brain, but because Toyah decides to tell him that the tot is in fact Eva and Aidan’s child.
