A newly built home situated in a secure estate on the outskirts of Johannesburg, this property has been designed for family living.
“It is our safe haven; the design is everything we wanted and even more,” says the owner.
With a focus on ample living space for kids to comfortably play and explore as well as areas for the couple to relax and unwind, the architecture savours the location, making good use of the natural light and open space with the incorporation of glass throughout.
The owner says: “This is precisely what we wanted: a contemporary house that’s open-plan and with lots of natural light swimming in.”
The family adore their sanctuary, and over weekends can be found relaxing in their spacious, open-plan living area that flows onto the patio. “This is where we spend most of our time together as a family, and also in the kitchen. I love cooking for my family and we often bond over meal times.”
