JOSH Parker’s late strike ensured the battle of the care-taker bosses ended all square but Ryan Lowe believes a point is proof of the attacking mentality he is trying to install at Bury.
The Shakers came within five minutes of claiming their first away league win of the season, as well as ending a winless run at Priestfield dating back to December 1992, thanks to Neil Danns’ first-half opener.
However, the hosts, also currently under interim guidance in the form of Steve Lovell, extended their unbeaten run to four games across all competitions courtesy of Parker’s 85th-minute header.
“I’m gutted. It’s a good point but we’re hanging on at the end,” said Lowe.
“Their manager has got them firing on all cylinders and their fans get behind them like a 12th man, so I’ll take the point. I’m just disappointed that it’s not all three.
