Beautiful Botanicals in a Garden Setting
Andrew proposed on Christmas morning at my parents’ house in 2014, so holding our wedding at their home felt like coming full circle! Our ceremony was in the village church – a handy five-minute walk away –before a marquee reception in the garden.
Our colour scheme was grey, white and green – it sounds boring, but with so much colour in the garden we wanted the décor to be simple and elegant. We aimed to combine rustic details with a clean, contemporary colour palette. Our table centres were candles in hurricane lamps surrounded by eucalyptus, while hanging details draped in foliage filled the space of the marquee beautifully.
