MOTHER, INTERRUPTED: Ange's scariest role

She’s good at lots of things – acting, directing, supporting humanitarian causes. But if there’s one thing Angelina Jolie isn’t so hot at it, it’s being a traditional mother to her family of six.

The Oscar winner admits she’s not the domesticated type because she’s too restless. “I was never any good at sitting still,” she reveals in a frank interview with Vogue magazine. “Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mum… I didn’t imagine it in that true, traditional sense. I feel I’m lacking in all the skills to be a traditional, stay-at-home mum.”

A single mother since her split from husband Brad Pitt in 2016, she says she’s managing because Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox are so resilient.

“They’re helping me, but I’m not good at it at all. I feel like we’re such a team. It may sound cliched, but you love and you try, and even if you burn the eggs, that doesn’t matter in the end.”
