A life of partying, alcohol and substance abuse earned Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood a reputation as one of the greatest hell-raisers in rock ’n’ roll history.

But it very nearly cost him his life, when a routine medical check revealed the musician had lung cancer.

“There was a week when everything hung in the balance and it could have been curtains – time to say goodbye,” reveals Ronnie. “You never know what is going to happen.”
