WIMBLEDON
LIVE SAT-FRI, TIMES VARY, BBC1, BBC2 & BBC IPLAYER SPORT
Few tennis champions have experienced the highs and lows of Wimbledon quite like John McEnroe. The American ace, renowned for his shotmaking artistry and volleying skills, won three finals in the 1980s, and he now gets to watch the action from a different perspective in his role as a commentator for the BBC.
"There's no better feeling in the world than walking out there on Centre Court for a Wimbledon final,' John, 65, tells TV Times. Except winning the match I suppose that's the only feeling that's better!" With the 137th Wimbledon Championships currently in full swing, this week sees John reporting on proceedings as the quarterfinals and semi-finals get under way.
