It’s all change at the Rovers this week, but as stressed Jenny looks to a future with new lover Stephen, she’s inevitably heading for more heartbreak.
Our Jen sold the pub to Newton and Ridley, thinking that they would keep her on as landlady. But the brewery has since been taken over by Waterfords. And much to her misery, she learns that not only is the pub closing for a huge revamp, but all of the staff contracts have been terminated, too.
The team are thrown into a spin – for many, the place is their home as well as their place of work. They enlist Adam to help, but the solicitor has bad news – the Waterfords’ contract is as watertight as a barrel of best bitter…
