Ironically, this happens at a time when Matty - who's been wrongly charged with stabbing Samson - is daring to believe that everything is going to be OK. Last week, he decided to reveal the truth to his rock-hard cellmate, Les. It was a risky move, but one that has paid dividends.
Les doesn't give two hoots, and Matty now feels that he has an ally.
