Renovations to this once fairly bland home have transformed it into a coastal villa with. a holiday vibe. There are ocean views from almost every room in the home, with the bedrooms and living spaces facing north. The designer introduced new outdoor living spaces and a swimming pool to meet the need for outdoor living without making any changes to the established garden. "The new pergolas were a direct result of and response to the house orientation as they provide much-needed relief from the harsh afternoon sun while you enjoy the outdoors and views," says the designer. The raised gum pole and latte pergola between the pool and braai area is one of the home's standout features.
