Moving to the 'burbs M was always the plan for this young couple, who dreamed of creating a home where they could start their family.
This materialised when they found the ideal estate on the north side of Johannesburg.
"Estate living was a definite, and security was the main factor that attracted us to this particular estate. Along with the parks, running paths and playgrounds, which are part of the estate, it also ensures a safe environment that's surrounded by nature," shares the owner.
For the architecture, the style was predefined by the estate's guidelines, but the couple adopted this aesthetic with ease while making the property theirs by infusing their discerning taste in design and décor.
"We envisioned a completely open-plan design where the interior and exterior areas seamlessly blended together. We wanted to create a home where no matter where you stand in the house you can still feel part of the family whether it's day-to-day living or while entertaining family and friends.
"On the ground floor, there are no separate rooms each area blends into the next. For us, it's the perfect way to live. We feel close as a family while still enjoying the luxury of space."
