PANERAI HAS ALWAYS had a close relationship with the Italian military, and that’s why it’s no surprise that its latest series shines a light on one of the most well-known military forces in the world – the Navy SEALs.
With this in mind, Panerai made sure to mirror both the elite training of these special forces, as well as the rigorous requirements they have when on active duty.
This series consists of five watches which will be available internationally, versus the previous release only in the United States market.
LUMINOR MARINA NAVY SEALS (PAM01412)
This timepiece, housed in a 44mm Brunito steel case, carries a unique characteristic for each of its 862 limited edition pieces, thanks to the hand-finishing process. The result is a weathered patina, perfect for fans of the rugged look.
It comes with an anthracite dial, with the date window at three o’clock, and seconds sub-dial uniquely placed at nine o’clock.
The heart of this timepiece is Panerai’s in-house P.9010 calibre movement which runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and has a power reserve of 72 hours. It also boasts a whopping 300-metre water resistance.
Luminor Chrono Navy SEALs (PAM01409) and Luminor Chrono Carbotech Navy SEALs (PAM01419)
