THE mother of one of two girls killed when a car drove into their school tea party says she has been "living in hell", as police revealed they are reopening investigations into the crash.

An internal Met review was launched after "concerns" were raised by relatives of eight-year-old pupils Nuria Sajjad and Selena Lau.

The families were "unconvinced" the initial probe was thorough after it was announced in June that the driver of the 4x4 had an epileptic seizure before ploughing through a fence, and would not face criminal charges.

They welcomed the announcement of a fresh investigation. Selena's mother Jessie Deng told the BBC: "I really welcome that the investigation opened and it has been kind of like living in hell for the last 15 months." Growing emotional, she said she misses her daughter every day, adding: "We sent her to school, but she never came back. It's just like the day that turned our world upside down." Franky Lau, Selena's father, said: "We think it's the right thing for them [the police] to do.
