A GIRL of 12 yesterday appeared in court charged with killing a grandfather who was allegedly kicked to death while walking his dog.
Bhim Kohli, 80, was 30 seconds from his home when he was attacked in September. The schoolgirl, who cannot be named, appeared at Leicester Youth Court charged with manslaughter. She was bailed and ordered to appear at the city's crown court in February.
A 15-year-old boy charged with the murder of Mr Kohli is due to appear in court later this week.
