LUCAS BERGVALL has achieved his childhood dream by starting a Premier League game - now he wants to end Tottenham's trophy drought.

The 18-year-old midfielder was selected for Spurs' 5-0 thrashing of Southampton on Sunday, after injuries forced head coach Ange Postecoglou to turn to his crop of talented teenagers.

Bergvall, a summer signing from Swedish side Djurgardens, played the full game on the South Coast and said: "It felt unbelievable. I was a bit nervous - that is good.

"It has been a dream since I was a kid. My father was here as well so I was really happy with that and I was happy to help the team.
