Wood won't compromise his pace even to become a 'better' bowler

FAST AND FURIOUS!

MARK WOOD says he will never compromise his raw pace - even if learning a new skill makes him more 'deadly'.

The England fast bowler believes he can maintain his lightning speed for longer periods and insists that is his No.1 priority.

Wood regularly clocked more than 90mph during Tests at Trent Bridge and Edgbaston, and received his just rewards when blasting out five West Indies batsmen inside 21 deliveries in Birmingham as England completed a 3-0 clean sweep.
