DONALD Trump will become the first convicted criminal elected to the White House after a judge refused to quash his hush money guilty verdict.

His legal team had moved to have the case dismissed due to a recent US Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity.

But trial judge Juan Merchan rejected the plea.

President-elect Trump gave £102,400 to porn star Stormy Daniels in a bid to stop her going public with claims she slept with him before he was elected in 2017.
