A BABY in a tent that was smashed into by a car was saved by a cot, it was claimed.
The tot in the bed was said to have escaped serious injury after a blue Ford Fiesta "flipped and rolled" into a campsite at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
Nine people were hurt, with two last night said to be in a serious condition in hospital - and passengers in the car were among those injured.
