BLAST CHRISTMAS

BRITS face Christmas chaos with a blitz of 70mph Atlantic storms hitting the festive season.

A new run of monster winds are due to strike from next Monday and are set to last for two weeks.

Road, rail, flight and ferry disruption is expected as millions of people across the nation visit loved ones.

The winds could create another storm which will be named Eowyn by the Met Office if it has potential for amber weather warnings. It comes after Storm Darragh battered the UK at the weekend with downpours and 102mph gales in some parts.
