BRITAIN is set to be hotter than California next week as forecasters predict temperatures of up to 30C.
The Met Office said high pressure will build from Wednesday with the southeast peaking at 32C on Friday.
Meanwhile, in famously sunny Sunset Boulevard and Santa Monica, LA, the mercury will reach just 26C.
