JAMES Bulger's mum called it a "day to celebrate" after the Parole Board rejected killer Jon Venables' bid for freedom.
Venables, who was just 10 when he abducted, tortured and murdered two-year-old James in 1993, will spend at least two more years in jail.
The Parole Board said it was "not satisfied" that releasing Venables, now 41, "would be safe for the protection of the public"
Kym Morris, on behalf of James' mum Denise Fergus, said: "This is a day we celebrate and we thank the Parole Board for making the correct decision." James' dad Ralph and uncle Jimmy added in a statement they were "relieved at the decision"&nbsp;
Venables and Robert Thompson, also 10, killed James after abducting him in Merseyside. Venables was freed in 2001 but has since twice been jailed for possessing indecent images of children.
