The urn was retained on the same ground as it was four years ago, but unlike that series, Australia didn’t win the match – they didn’t even have to lift a finger on a soggy day five. 

Instead, they only had to keep England at bay long enough to enjoy the benefit of the wet weather and, after finishing three not out alongside Mitch Marsh, fellow all-rounder Cameron Green knows his teammates were lucky to get the draw.
