UFC WELTERWEIGHT champion Leon Edwards is on the kind of winning run that would make even the Harlem Globetrotters jealous.
Undefeated in more than eight years, the Birmingham star has racked up 12 wins, collecting the 170lb title from Kamaru Usman along the way.
The one anomaly on Edwards’ record is a no contest in March 2021 and ‘Rocky’ will get the chance to put that right at UFC 304 in Manchester in the early hours of tomorrow when he rematches with Belal Muhammad.
An inadvertent poke to Muhammad’s eye ended that contest prematurely, with the bad blood building between the two ever since, though it has been mainly the Chicago native fuelling the rivalry.
