A CHARITY boss has slammed ghouls for trolling Jay Slater’s mum after she asked the public for more donations. More than £62,000 has been raised since the GoFundMe page was set up to search for the missing teen. Remains of the 19-year-old, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancs, were recovered from a ravine in Tenerife on Monday after what police suspect was a fall. Jay’s mum Debbie Duncan wrote on the GoFundMe page: “We are working with agencies to arrange Jay’s repatriation. We want to give our boy the send-off he deserves so please do continue to share and support our fundraiser.” But after sickos questioned the family’s need for cash, Matthew Searle, of missing person charity LBT Global, blasted the “vile” comments. He wrote on Facebook: “This hate comes from people who, I assume, have never had to repatriate a deceased loved one. Those costs can top £20k. “The search and rescue charities who helped have had costs covered. “There is little spare from £60k. Certainly not enough to ‘line her pockets’.”
