As many as one in four are planning to swerve their dull family members at the eleventh hour and hop on a flight instead.
Some 16% of us say seeing family is the “worst” part of the festive season, travel firm On The Beach found. It has seen bookings surge to warmer climes in the Canaries, Spain and Egypt.
