CHRIS WILDER claims Sheffield United are getting him at his best because he has learnt from his mistakes.

He was sacked by the Blades in March 2021 after falling out with everyone and with the club bottom of the Premier League.

Wilder, who has agreed a 19-month succeed Paul contract to Heckingbottom, knows he got things wrong and has mended his relation ship with Saudi owner Prince Abdullah.

The pair made up last year and Prince Abdullah even offered to set Wilder up for the Fenerbahce job.

"I'm going to give it my all," said Wilder, who was first approached by Prince Abdullah in September.

"I'm enthusiastic and more determined than I've ever been in life. I think Sheffield United are getting me at my best.
