A WOMAN who says her duck &ldquo;saved her life&rdquo; is raising money for his medical bills.&nbsp;
Lucinda Burton, 35, has brought up Charlie Feathers since the day he hatched in July 2016 and has relied on him for support.
Aged just 19, Lucinda, right, lost her mum to breast cancer &ndash; and she struggled with intense grief and depression.
But she claims Charlie Feathers&rsquo; arrival almost 10 years later &ldquo;gave her a purpose&rdquo; and most definitely &ldquo;saved her life&rdquo;.

Lucinda, from Truro, Cornwall, revealed: &ldquo;I started looking after Charlie on the day he was born. I went to the food store and the owner had a baby duckling and a baby chick. He asked if I wanted the duckling.
"After that, I had a reason to get up and feed him and make sure he's OK.
"He's definitely saved my life." However, Charlie, now seven, is struggling to walk and she is hoping to raise &pound;1,500 pay for a CT to scan.
Lucinda added: "I don't even want to think about him passing away. I don't know what I would do.
"I'm so grateful for everyone who's donated to the GoFundMe so far."
