ERIK TEN HAG takes his Manchester United squad to the USA tomorrow admitting he is finally liking what he sees after the turmoil of last season.
United limped home in eighth place, their worst finish of the Premier League era, although their campaign was somewhat salvaged by victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
That Wembley win saw the Red Devils snatch a Europa League place, after a season wrecked by persistent injuries and off-field issues, leaving Ten Hag reflecting on his toughest campaign as a manager.
But after Saturday’s 2-0 win over Rangers at Murrayfield, in which new £52m defender Leny Yoro made a competent debut, Ten Hag said something he and United fans could not claim last season.
