Daniel Mays and Romola Garai on their terrifying new psychological thriller
TV Times is freezing cold in an icy mortuary chapel in Cardiff when Daniel Mays wanders over for a chat during a break from filming his new C4 drama Born to Kill.
‘I never like to wear thermals under my clothes because they make me look like the Michelin Man,’ laughs Daniel. ‘So I have heat pads sewn into my coat to keep me warm. Tricks of the trade and all that!’
Daniel’s cheery personality couldn’t contrast more with the sinister tone of the four part psychological thriller, which is from the makers of Line of Duty. It sees Daniel and his costar Romola Garai play Bill and Jenny, the single parents of two troubled teenagers.
