Vigier Excalibur DoubleBfoot Signature

Dave Burrluck
Vigier Excalibur DoubleBfoot Signature

1. A combination of fretless iMetal and fretted rosewood necks are bolted to a mahogany body, with DiMarzio pickups: DP184 Chopper in both necks and DP155F Tone Zone in the bridges

2. Vigier’s headstock design, which predates that of a certain Maryland-based maker is typically functional. While the fretless neck features a conventional nut, the stainless steel-fretted neck has Vigier’s more typical six-element removable zero fret and, of course, a locking nut. Thankfully, Vigier also produces a single fretted neck version

3. The Floyd Rose features proprietary needlepoint bearings while the controls include a volume control for each neck, a killswitch, a three-way toggle neck selector and two five-way lever pickup selectors
