Nathan Jones showered his Luton Town ‘battlers’ in praise after their resilient display earned a point at Sincil Bank.
Lincoln City have been scoring freely in their first season back in the Football League but failed to break through against the high flying Hatters.
“I am so proud of my players because this is a really good point to gain,” said Jones.
“Lincoln have a certain style of playing and we had to battle really hard and compete hard. My players were battlers and that is pleasing.
“We like to see ourselves as a passing team whereas Lincoln win a free-kick in their own corner flag and they pump it into your penalty box.
