BORIS Johnson travels by train without a mask - just hours after apologising for failing to wear one in a hospital.

Passengers were shocked to see the Prime Minister flouting his own Government advice on face coverings.

And to rub salt in the wounds it came during a trip to the North as news emerged the Tories were ditching the Leeds leg of the HS2 rail link.

Mr Johnson's latest insult to millions abiding by Covid guidance came on Thursday as he took a train from Oxford Road Station in Manchester, heading to Warrington Bank Quay.
