Under Phase-II of FAME India Scheme, 7,66,478 EVs benefited
THE GOVERNMENT'S Phase-II of Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of (Hybrid &) Electric Vehicles in India (FAME India) scheme that was launched for a period of five years in April, 2019 with a total budgetary support of Rs 10,000 crore has almost completed 80 percent of its original tenure (2023). However, the scheme was extended till 2024.
