गन्ने की खेती इस समय तमाम समस्याओं से दोचार हो रही है. एक तरफ गन्ने की तैयार फसल को चीनी मिलों द्वारा खरीदने के बाद भुगतान में हीलाहवाली, तो वहीं दूसरी तरफ खेती में घटती श्रम शक्ति और बढ़ती लागत ने किसानों को गन्ने की खेती से मुंह मोड़ने को मजबूर कर दिया है.

धान की फसल में लगने वाले प्रमुख रोग और उन का प्रबंधन

धान एक प्रमुख खाद्यान्न फसल है, जो पूरे विश्व की आधी से ज्यादा आबादी को भोजन प्रदान करती है. चावल के उत्पादन में सर्वप्रथम चीन के बाद भारत दूसरे नंबर पर आता है. भारत में धान की खेती लगभग 450 लाख हेक्टेयर क्षेत्रफल में की जाती है. छोटी होती जोत एवं कृषि श्रमिक न मिल पाने के चलते और जैविक, अजैविक कारकों की वजह से धान की उत्पादकता में लगातार कमी आ रही है.

भारतनेपाल सीमा से सटे उत्तर प्रदेश के आकांक्षी जिला यानी बहुत ही पिछड़े जनपद सिद्धार्थ नगर में खेतीबारी, बागबानी सहित खेती से जुड़े दूसरे कामों में विशेष उपलब्धियों वाले किसानों के उत्साहवर्धन के लिए राज्य स्तरीय फार्म एन फूड अवार्ड' का आयोजन 26 अगस्त, 2023 को सिद्धार्थ नगर जिला मुख्यालय पर स्थित विकास भवन के डा. अंबेडकर सभागार में किया गया.

ड्रोन का खेती में महत्व

वर्ष 2050 तक वैश्विक आबादी लगभग 10 अरब होगी और भोजन की कमी से बचने के लिए कृषि उत्पादन को दोगुना करना होगा. बढ़ती विश्व जनसंख्या की जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए वैश्विक कृषि खाद्य उत्पादन में कम से कम 70 फीसदी की वृद्धि करनी होगी.

सितंबर महीने में खेती से जुड़े काम

हमारे यहां खेतीबारी के नजरिए से सितंबर का महीना यानी हिंदी का भादों का महीना काफी खास होता है. इस महीने में धान की फसल में कीट और बीमारियों के नियंत्रण पर खासा ध्यान दिया जाता है, क्योंकि धान की अगेती किस्में पकने की अवस्था में पहुंचने लगती हैं. इस के अलावा ज्वार, बाजरा जैसी फसलें भी पक रही होती हैं.
