It's all change as 1960s-set crime drama Grantchester returns to ITV1 for its ninth series this week. After six years of portraying popular crime-fighting clergyman Will Davenport, actor Tom Brittney will be hanging up his cassock for good in the new run.
As they say, all good things must come to an end, and it felt like the right time to put a full stop on Will's story, says Brittney, 34.
